Darion Mograine
If Lights Hope Chapel is taken within the first 20 minutes of the game starting, Darion Mograine (and a small force of undead) will attack at some point afterwards (about 5 minutes or so), beating him converts him to your faction, however, he can only be revived at Acherus
Bandits:
Defias Brotherhood
Defias Brotherhood can be founded by entering deadmines with Edwin Vancleef, you will Gain Edwin as hero, and other heros become untrainable and gets removed, you also get access to the Defias Troop tree.
Kingdom of Alterac(to be Added)
Syndicate(to be Added)
Blood Elves:
Lor'Themar:
In order to claim Lor'themar you simply need to take Kael'thas to where Lor'themar is (which is directly south of Quel'thalas) and he will join you, Lor'Themar is an extremely powerful hero and is definantly worth getting as soon as possible. due to his proximity to the nearby neutral-hostiles he may die if you wait too long to acquire him, if this happens you can still claim him regardless, though he will be dead and need to be revived at an altar.
Kael'thas Followers:
In order to obtain the Kael'thas followers research option and units you must do the following:
1. Claim Tempest Keep in Netherstorm (Northern Outland) by approaching it with Kael
2. Claim Magisters Terrace which is inside a portal on the Isle of Quel'Danas (sunwell island)
3. Research Kael'thas followers from Magisters Terrace, the research option will not be available unless you have Tempest Keep.
Kael'thas followers gives more units and the ability to trigger the Kil'Jaedan event. for the most part all Kael'thas followers units are better than their normal equivilents.

Kil'Jaedan:
In order to obtain Kil'Jaedan as a hero you must first research the Kael'thas followers research option from Magisters Terrace (a guide on how to do that is directly above this), after doing so bring Kael to the sunwell and he shall summon Kil'Jaedan. do note that KJ is unrevivable and should be given several blood stones/hearts of tarrasque in order to increase his HP
Illidari:
In order to trigger this event, a player with Illidan must travel to the dalaran ruins, to proceed through the portal as he normally would for his event chain, during this time though kael must be present, after he summons the portal enter it and (if done correctly) you will lose all of your units, structures, and other things. units will begin spawning from the portal at this time and once the portal closes the units will cease to spawn. generally this path is extremely ill-advised as you gain very little from it compared to what you lose and should be taken as a last resort.
Centaur: none
Dalaran:
Kul'tiras
Bringing Jaina to the outside of Kul'tiras will give the player ownership of everything inside, including a level 7 Tandred Proudmoore
Tol Barad
By researching Restoration of Tol Barad from Boralus Tol barad will become accesable for units and the player who researched it recieves 5 wardens and the Warden Commander(reviveable demi) and Tol Barad's prison tower
Dark Iron Dwarves:
Thaurissan and Ragnaros
Bringing Dark iron mountain king to shadowforge gives you control over Dagran Thaurissan, once he has reached level 8 he can approach Ragnaros to try his luck to gain or die for Ragnaros
Demons:
Book of Medivh
Book of Medivh can be used to open portal to twisting nether to gain reinforcements for burning legion's cause at azeroth, but should it be lost then everything is lost
Draenei:
The Exodar
When a Blood Elven player claims Tempest Keep the Draenei can obtain a small base near the Exodar if their Demi-Hero is still alive
Dwarves:
Muradin and the Frostborne
a Dwarven player can claim Muradin as well as some of his Frostborn Dwarves by taking Brann Bronzebeard to the area directly south-west of the location Frostmourne is at, on a small hill.
Faceless: none
Fel Orcs:
Grom's Lumber Camp
Taking Grom Hellscream to Ashenvale spawns a few units, a warmill, and a worker at the location. its useful as a last resort if all your workers die.
Rend Blackhand
In order to claim the powerful Rend Blackhand one must take (either of) the Fel Orc heroes down to blackrock, there they can find Rend, moving near him claims him as a hero - do be cautious though as the units near him don't fall under your control, meaning that you are going to need to either evacuate quickly or bring a large force with you to deal with the units
Kargath Bladefist
Subduing Kargath with lethal force will make him swear you his fealty should you want it, Illidan also can do this feat
Forsaken:
Construction of Undercity
To construct the Undercity a Forsaken player needs to use the upgrade of the Lordaeron palace, which allows access to Undercity's dungeon and give few units, buildings and Grand Apothecary Putress and sylvanas windrunner with the bow of Tas'dora to aid the Forsaken player's war efforts.
Construction of Sepulcher
By going near Sepulcher's site in Silverpine forest player may trigger the Sepulcher's construction with any forsaken hero unit.
Charming Snarlmane (found near fenris keep)
When Snarlmane is Charmed his gnoll comrades and tower will change it's ownership to the charming player.
Goblins: none
Golems: none
Gnolls: none
Humans:
Path of the Damned
Upon using the “expedition to Northrend” ability on Arthas he, along with Falric, Marwyn, and Luc Valonforth spawn on the icy shores of Northrend (Near Valgarde keep). Additionally an Emissary and some troops will be stationed there, as well as lumberjacks (and adjacent lumber mill) and the First Legion Camp (which functions like a barracks). Your first goal is to obtain the sword Frostmourne, to obtain this sword you need to go to the pedestal, which is located in the Storm Peaks (underneath Ulduar). Do note that there are several powerful revenants guarding it, they don’t need to be killed, nor does the pedestal, all that needs to happen is for Arthas to get close to the pedestal and he instantly equips the sword. After he equips the sword immediantly rush him over to Drak'theron Keep and kill Mal'ganis, make sure Arthas is the one to deal the final blow (personally I recommend just having Arthas 1v1 Mal'ganis, it prevents any other units from getting the kill and Arthas is more than a match for him. Additionally I also suggest luring Mal'ganis away from Drak'theron Keep, as it has an extremely powerful ranged attack that can easily kill Arthas. Once Mal'ganis is dead the Arthas player will become a member of the Scourge. After this the Arthas player needs to kill King Terenas in order to progress through the event line. After Terenas is dead Arthas needs to be level 12, an easy way to do this is to just take Scholomance. Once Arthas is level 12 simply take him over to the Frozen Throne and he will become the Lich King.
King of Lordaeron
After taking Frostmourne you can walk east of the lumber camp with Luc Valonforth to aquire a Boat, it can be used to travel to Lordaeron to crown Arthas as King. Do note that the emmisary needs to both be alive and come with you to Lordaeron for this event to work - Arthas also needs to have a few empty inventory slots as well.
Prince Galen Trollbane, The Stormgarde
When Troll player makes diplomatic meeting with Hex the troll threat is raised upon ears of the leaders of stormgarde, and will prepare forces for any human race's chosen player.
Lord Garithos
Upon Illidari going to outland Garithos will make fortifications near old dalaran to hold out any possible other Naga from taking the defensive point, such as Lady Vashj or the Blood elven Kael'thas
Varian Wrynn
Mage Hunters:
Malygos The Spellweaver
Mage Hunters can train malygos from the Nexus located in coldarra, in northrend, doing so will open the portal in coldarra to Dalaran.
Murlocs: none
Naga:
Illidari
In order to become the Illidari you must first free Illidan from his prison, upon bringing the Naga Sea Witch hero over to him he swaps over to your side and can be controlled normally. In order to advance Illidan must be given the Skull of Gul’dan, this instantly transforms him into his demonic version, however this does delete the Skull item – giving Illidan the dark portal ability that it had instead. Illidan must then venture to the old Dalaran ruins, upon entering the inner circle his 2nd ability swaps to that of “Open Portal”, using it creates a (timed) portal to Nagrand (Outland). Do note that if you pass through this portal now you lose ALL your previous units, buildings, and heroes; as they become neutral. You do keep all your research though so I suggest doing all of those before entering. After entering Illidan is given a tiny Naga Citadel item if he has inventory space (be sure to have enough room in Illidan inventory for this item, if there is no room then the item spawns on the floor. Vashj spawns shortly afterwards, be sure to move her through the portal before it despawns, otherwise buy a staff of teleportation for her and use it to teleport to Illidan. Now that the two of them are in outland the next objective is to kill the blasted lands warlock (or if he is already dead just take hellfire citadel, be sure that Illidan [Not In Metamorphosis form] be the one to do the killing blow to the citadel or it will not work, if he doesn’t land the killing blow just attack it again until it works). Upon successfully taking hellfire citadel w/ Illidan Akama, some broken Draenei, and 2 Fel Orc peons spawn to the right of hellfire, these peons can make the draenei and fel orc barracks, fel orc watchtowers, and the temple of the tides (naga townhall). After this I suggest claiming the rest of outland and killing maiev (this is unrelated to the quest chain, though it gives some nice XP and gold income). After all this head on over to shadowmoon valley. Your going to want to bring a HUGE force to shadowmoon, you can expect heavy resistance from the normal demon forces there. The big boss in shadowmoon is the pit commander – an exceedingly powerful pit lord who slices through units like butter – as Illidari its entirely feasible to just mass dragon turtles and ranged units to deal with him as the dragon turtles are excellent tanks, I also suggest using the Doomguard's Cripple ability on him, it makes the pit commander attack unfathomably slowly. After he is dead Kil’jaedan will begin his assault on Azeroth, this is an unrelated event though. Go to the black temple with Illidan and kill it (with him of course) to become lord of Outland. That is all there is to this event but I personally recommend taking your remaining forces to fight Kil'Jaedan for extra levels and so that he doesn't flood Azeroth with demons.
Nerubians: none
Night Elves:
Malfurion
Upon taking Barrow Den its possible to train Malfurion from there, gaining him as a hero.
Maeiv
Shortly after illidan has entered outland, maeiv will pursue him, granting her on same to any night elf player in the game
Ogres: none
Orcs: none
Furbolgs: none
Satyr: none
Scarlet Crusade:
Risen
To become The Risen you must Research it from Scarlet Bastion (in Stratholme). Researching this turns all Scarlet Crusade units into their Risen counterparts, as well as giving you the option to turn your Scarlet commander into either Balnazzar or Malganis. Risen units are generally better than Scarlet Crusade units, however, becoming Risen disables that player from obtaining Alexandros Mograine.
Alexandros Mograine
In order for a Scarlet player to obtain Alexandros another player needs to have triggered the Arthas expedition event and have killed Mal'ganis
Renault Mograine
Should Renault kill Alexandros Mograine he will be promoted to full hero.
Sally Whitemane
Taking Renault Mograine (the demi hero) to Scarlet Monastery while its under your control allows you to train Sally from there
Scourge:
Baron Rivendare and The Slaughterhouse of Stratholme
When 20 minutes time has passed from the start of game Baron rivendare gains access to ability to Build The Slaughterhouse in Eastern Stratholme, Doing so will Grant you Lvl 6 baron rivendare as hero with one Life and a new base in Stratholme and Few units
Kel'Thuzad
After killing Kel'Thuzad he drops his phylactory, which can be given to Baron Rivendare to revive him for your own uses
Tauren: none
Trolls:
Frost King Malakk
In order to obtain Frost King Malakk simply walk the default troll hero (the shadow hunter) over to gundrak, Malakk will instantly join your forces upon doing so. Malakk is often times killed very early on and - unlike the Illidan or Lor'themar events (where you can simply let the hero die and claim them later), Malakk cannot be claimed if he has been killed, a good idea is to rush as soon as the map begins to Gundrak in order to assure that you sway him to your side.
Vile Priestess Hex
In order to obtain Vile Priestess Hex you must take your Shadow Hunter hero over to Jintha'Alor, be sure not to destroy any units or buildings along the way as all of it will be given to your forces upon swaying Hex. in order to obtain Hex just walk up to her with your Shadow Hunter and she shall join your forces.
